Consignment

Southern Sales Services (SSS) provides manufacturers, distributors, and existing building material retailers with an outlet for overstock, misorders, returned items, display units, and discontinued lines. By consigning material to SSS, you allow your material to be exposed to thousands of bidders that regularly attend each of our auctions.

We currently receive and process an average of 40 tractor-trailers of building materials per month, and that number will continue to grow. Holding roughly 10 auctions per year, we move material in high volumes off of our new 140,000 sq.ft. selling floor, located in Baltimore , MD. We are the biggest in the business.

Between auctions, we offer customers flooring, granite countertops, decorative entry doors, pine interior doors, and oak interior doors. All other material is sold in a live auction format to thousands of regular attendees. Satisfying our consignors' needs by always moving material in a timely manner, while satisfying our customers' needs for quality building materials at low prices, is an art that Southern Sales has perfected through 12 years of business.

We currently represent over 250 consignors, from the biggest names in manufacturing, to small retail operators and importers. Consignor information is always kept confidential to protect your product and your business. Our consignors receive payment for sold material within two weeks following any given auction, along with a full report listing sold material and sales totals.
